Sun and wind energy are perfect partners, because their generational profiles straighten our both their annual highs and lows. Winds are usually stronger during the hours from sunset to sunrise, while solar panels generate electricity during the ours between sunrise and sunset. Therefore, a combination of sun and wind energy products ensures a constant yield of energy on a 24 hour timescale. A similar principle applies for the time span of an entire year. During the summer there are more hours between sunset and sunrise and sunset, because of which solar panels compensate for the lesser yield of wind energy devices. In the winter, when there are less hours between sunrise and sunset, wind energy devices will yield the most energy. 

To make optimal use of the complementary character of sun and wind energy, Home Energy offers two hybrid products that generate a maximum amount of energy through a clever combination of one or more Energy Ball wind turbines and solar panels. These products are:

The Home Energy Streetlight is a clever combination of an Energy Ball and solar modules, thereby making optimal use of the compliment character of these two renewable energy sources. The Streetlight is capable of converting enough wind and solar energy to not only power sustainable and energy-efficient LED lighting, but also supply sufficient power to charge for example an electric bicycle or car. The Home Energy Streetlight can also be equipped with electronic charging points for PC and / or mobile phone and can even function as a WiFi hotspot.

The Streetlight S is the smallest and is the ideal solution for sustainable streetlights. The Streetlight S consists of an Energy Ball V100 and a 240 Wp solar module, installed on a mast with a length of 9 meters. Optionally the Streetlight S is fitted with a banner, LED fixture or charge point for your electric bicycle, scooter, car or boat.

The Streetlight M consists of an Energy Ball V100 and two 240 Wp solar panels, installed on a mast with a length of 9 meters. Optionally the Streetlight M can be provided with a banner, LED fixture or mount point for your electric bicycle, scooter, car or boat.

The Streetlight L consists of an Energy Ball V200 and two 240 Wp solar panels, installed on a mast with a length of 10 meters. Optionally the Streetlight L can be provided with a banner, LED fixture or mount point for your electric bicycle, scooter, car or boat.

The Streetlight XL consists of an Energy Ball V100 and three 240 Wp solar panels, installed on a mast with a length of 12 meters. Optionally the Streetlight XL can be provided with a banner, LED fixture or mount point for your electric bicycle, scooter, car or boat.

The Power Box is a 20 feet container equipped with four Energy Ball wind turbines and 18 260Wp solar panels, designed to charge electronic devices. Due to the Energy Ball wind turbines the Power Box generates substantially more energy than comparable containers equipped with only solar panels.
